Why did you choose to run for political office in the Town of Mesilla?
I ran for office to bring representation to my neighborhood. I live in a part of Mesilla, that like Rasaaf Hills was annexed into Mesilla. However, I hope to represent all resident of the Town fairly. I want to preserve both open space and the historical character of the Town. I believe that the historic character of the plaza is the main reason people come to visit our Town, go to our restaurants, and shop at our local businesses.
